Sculptural Shellfish Habitat Restoration

I was a Graduate Research Fellow and Sculptor on this EPSCOR funded project to build a public sculpture that restores oyster habitat on the urban waterfront. We were a team of artists and scientists from RISD departments of Landscape Architecture and Sculpture, Roger Williams University, University of Rhode Island, and the Nature Conservancy. We generated 3 sculptural forms, building prototypes and testing materials for settlement of oysters and mussels in the Providence harbor.
